History of Toyota
Toyota was first brought to the automotive world in 1933 by a company called Toyoda Automatic Loom Works in Japan. Toyoda Automatic Loom Works was encouraged to develop automobile production by the Japanese government, which needed domestic vehicle production, due to the war with China at the time. The first years were solely based on the construction of their engines. A few years later Toyota Motor Corporation was founded August 28, 1937 and has been a significant player in the global automotive marketplace. Toyota has it’s up and downs due to wars and a falling economy in 2008 but is still changing the way of the automobiles today. They are leading the charts with their version of the hybrid and plan to stay there!
