History of Toyota

Toyota was first brought to the automotive world in 1933 by a company called Toyoda Automatic Loom Works in Japan.  Toyoda Automatic Loom Works was encouraged to develop automobile production by the Japanese government, which needed domestic vehicle production, due to the war with China at the time. The first years were solely based on the construction of their engines.
